AppCUI

AppCUI is a cross-platform C++20 framework for text user interfaces (TUI). An application builds a virtual desktop with windows and controls - buttons, text fields, list views, tree views, grids, property lists, tabs, splitters, menus, images, … - that work with the keyboard and the mouse, and AppCUI displays it in the Windows console, in any terminal (ncurses), in an SDL window, in a web browser (WebAssembly) or through a frontend implemented by the application. Try it now: the Live demos run the AppCUI examples in your browser.

#include "AppCUI.hpp"
using namespace AppCUI;

int main()
{
    if (!Application::Init())
        return 1;
    auto window = Controls::Factory::Window::Create("Hello", "d:c,w:30,h:6");
    Controls::Factory::Label::Create(*window, "Hello, AppCUI!", "x:1,y:1,w:20");
    Application::AddWindow(std::move(window));
    Application::Run();
    return 0;
}
